Sample programme:

Day 1: 

Arrival in Montecatini Terme, dinner and overnight at a 3 star hotel.

Day 2:

A half-day guided tour to Pisa, We will see the splendid Square of Miracles, a wide walled square with its Cathedral, Baptistery and the wolrd-wide famous Leaning Tower. In the afternoon we will spend a very pleasant break at a farmhouse, where a wine tastingwith local wines and snacks will be organised. In the evening, after dinner at the hotel, choir’s first concert will take place. Venue – the main square in Montecatini Terme, in front of the Basilica di Santa Maria Assunta.

Day 3:

Full day tour to the Chianti Region. Greve in Chianti is the main town in Chianti Fiorentino. It’s the hub of the local wine industry and has an amiable market-town air, an attractive central square and eateries and enoteche that truly showcase the best Chianti food and drink. In only a few minutes you will reach another beautiful city in the Chianti area, Castellina in Chianti. In the medieval times Castellina had optimal strategic location which guaranteed the controll of all surrounding roads and the valley of the Elsa river. It was once surrounded by mighty walls and defending towers, but had only two gates, one pointed towards Siena, the other towards Florence.
Parts of the defending walls can still be seen today, unfortunatelly most has been integrated into the later construction of houses.
After a good glas of wine we go back to the Hotel for dinner and then the second concert will take place – venue to be specified.

Day 4:

Today our Tuscan adventure comes to an end.
