Complete Relax in the Maremma Area – Spring and Autumn 2017

Tuscany is the region with the most numerous thermal springs in Italy, which were already used by the Etruscans and the Romans. Come and discover the benefits of Tuscan springs!

First Day:

Arrival and accomodation in a nice 3 star Hotel in the area of Siena. Free time and dinner at the Hotel.

Second Day:

Today we reach Arezzo. The key attarction is the Piazza Grande, where the “Giostra del Saracino” takes place every year. This historial Knight competition is very important for the locals and they partecipate wearing the typical outfits and costums.

In the afternoon we reach Cortona. This small, but very lovely town, is located between Siena and Grosseto. Take a look at the Church of San Francesco or the Etruschian Museum.

Third Day:

Today we will enjoy the whole day at Terme di San Giovanni, in Rapolano Terme, with its thermal water originating from a natural spring with temperature 39°C.

In this therms you can make an inhalation cure or some physiotherapy rehabilitation, massagges or do only some beauty treatments.

Fourth Day:

Today we will visit the natural Park of the Maremma Area. The best way to visit this hugh area is by horse carriage. During the trip you will see some of the most known animals and species in Tuscany like wild boar or the typical Maremma cows.

In the afternoon you will reach the local farmhouses for shopping and tastings and dinner at a very nice Restaurant at Alberese, with typical Tuscan menu.

Fifth day:

Departure after breakfast.
